YWLCS believes that expenditures on public education for our nation’s young people are investments in our future.
This year, YWLCS will spend $12,400 per student to provide her with a life-altering education. This amount includes all of the administrative costs, as well as the direct instructional costs. Though this amount compares favorably to average amounts spent in successful urban public schools, it is $3,700 more than we receive in public funding.
